RUNNING THE CHAT CLIENT
USING THE CHAT CLIENT
Once you're in, you'll find this is a tremendous resource, because you can not only chat, but also share files with each other (legal, moral ones only!). You can chat normally and also paste segments of your log right into the chat area for others to read and assist you with. And if you need support help from TuneTracker Systems LLC, such as updated files from us, diagnosis of your logs, etc., we can do it interactively in real-time!
We'll be watching for you in BeShare! Be sure to drop by and say hi.
To access files, double-click on the name of the user you wish to access, as listed in a narrow vertical "Name" column on the right. A list of the files he or she is sharing will appear in the top window. To download a file, just double-click on it. As an example, double-click on our TuneTracker listing to see the files we are sharing.
We recommend that users just leave the chat client open, running, pretty much all the time, so the number of people available is as large as possible. It takes little to no processor to run it, and no noticiable bandwidth to monitor it. If it looks somewhat empty at first, don't let that discourage you! Just stay parked there long-term, and participation will grow steadily as people realize what a great resource this is.
Note that this is a public room, so we cannot be held responsible for any bad language or other bad behavior that might occur there. Knowing the caliber of TuneTrackers, though, problems seem very unlikely.
