TuneTracker QuickTip
Adding a 'Radar Button' to AutoCast
The line above contains the path to the Firefox web browser as it exists on most systems released by TuneTracker Systems in the past few years, followed by the URL to whichever Weather Underground page contains the radar for your area. In the example, it is for New York City. You will need to customize the line to your needs. Be certain to put quotation marks at the beginning and end of the line as shown.

Using AutoCast's "Run" button type, you're limited only by your imagination, as to what you can accomplish! Here are instructions on how to configure a Run button that will automatically retrieve the latest weather radar image. To do so, follow these steps:
/boot/apps/MozillaFirefox/firefox http://www.wunderground.com/radar/radblast.asp?ID=OKX®ion=a5&lat=40.74525833&lon=-73.97911072&label=New%20York%2c%20NY
When clicking the button, the Firefox web browser will pop up over the top of AutoCast and display the latest radar image. If it doesn't, double-check the exact path to the browser by dropping the Firefox iconto a Terminal window (opened with CTRL-ALT-D on most of our systems.) That'll display its exact path.
