Mounting Volumes Automatically

One of the really cool ways to use our TunePrepper music preparation software is to tell your Haiku® operating system to auto-mount volumes. That just means the operating system immediately makes new drives, or in the case of CDs, new disks, instantly accessible.
The benefit in TunePrepper is that, a few seconds after it's inserted, the CD's contents are automatically displayed in TunePrepper for you. If you're connected to the Internet, those contents will even be updated with the actual cut data such as Artist, Album, Title, etc. Once you have your TunePrepper settings as you like them, all that's left to do is hit the Start button to begin ripping and prepping your music. And when you eject your CD, the list automatically disappears from TunePrepper, clearing the way for the next batch of tracks.
To enable auto-mounting, follow these simple steps:
1. Right-click on your desktop background.
2. Move your mouse over "Mount."
3. Move left-click on "Settings."
4. Under "Automatic disk mounting," select "All disks."
That's it! You'll love how smooth that makes the ripping process under TunePrepper.
