TuneTracker™ QuickTip

Getting blocked by your Internet Service Provider?

Occasionally we hear from a customer who has trouble getting past their ISP's home page when attempting to access the Internet from their TuneTracker computer. This is normally the case only with larger ISPs, like Comcast.

If you've encountered that issue, we have received information from one of our users that might be useful to you. He reported that using an "open DNS" address in your router settings can get you past that obstacle. Specifically, he recommends going into your router settings and specifying the following:

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

When he did that on his system, he was able to fly past the ISP's redirect page and access the web normally. Hope it's helpful!
